Preston to Lead the Way in Dog Safety Education
Preston is set to become the first city in the United Kingdom to implement a coordinated, large-scale programme focused on dog safety education as part of the Bark Smart initiative. The project aims to reach thousands of children, families and members of the wider community, creating a new model for preventative education that could be rolled out across the country.
The ambition is significant. Bark Smart plans to deliver sessions across 57 primary schools, reaching approximately 24,000 children and extending its impact to more than 15,000 parents.
